Riptide, Glad to see you all last night braving the chilly winter weather. I think its a good opportunity to remind you that part of your gear for swim practice should always include a dry change of clothes, warm jacket or parka, and warm shoes & socks or ugg boots. This is true even in warmer weather. Even in the summer the temperature can drop quickly at night and you can give your body a better chance to stay healthy if you exit the water and get warm and dry quickly.
Anyway, back to last night… I was really impressed by the professional way that most of you in all the groups got in the water and started workout. Sometimes when its cold outside some swimmers monkey around and complain… You guys did not act like hyenas, so thank you and keep up the good work!
